DT Copic Marker Norge- Lucia

Good morning peeps,
Today we are celebrating Lucia all over the country. The children in kinder-gardens and schools all over dress in white, holding candles and singing. It's a wonderful tradition and they are all so excited to be part of this celebration. For my blogpost over at Copic Marker Norge today I have colored Lucia from Magnolia, and made her into a christmas card.

God morgen,

I used a prisma color pencil for the eyes and details on her face.

Here's my card:
Her er kortet jeg har laget med henne:
I used papers from Vibeke Spigseth/Poppy design, Mamorybox swirl die, Spellbinders poinsettia and scalloped oval dies, martha stewart punch, Magnolia doohickey tag die. The sentiment is from a Maja Design paper. I also used drops of liquid pearl around the image.

DT Ett Trykk: Daily Planner for 2014

Good morning peeps

Today I want to show you I made a planner for 2014 using an old book and some pretty design papers. We are having an advent calendar over at the Ett Trykk blog. Each day of december the DT girls are giving you inspiration using tutorials and sketches from this years magazines. We hope to inspire your christmas preparations. Here is a gift idea for you.

I have used a recycling- tutorial from the August edition of the magazine made by Camilla.

I removed the pages of a book and made it into a planner. I used some elastic ribbon and a Tim Holtz door nob as an opening mechanism. I covered the lace, letters and charm with liquitex gloss gel medium to make it stick when the planner goes in and out of the owners purse:)

I decorated the inside with bazzill and design papers. I removed the front and back of a 2014 planner and attached it to the back cover of the book.

I used elastic ribbon and brads to make a place to stick pens and utilities for the planner.

Here is the back of the book. i was planning on making a pocket, but I ended up leaving the last page blank, showcasing the gorgeous papers.

Materials used :
Maja Design - design papers, Vintage Autumn Basic collection
Bazzill - Kartong
Magnolia - Tilda Lace die
Ranger- Distress ink, Walnut stain
Tim Holtz - door nob
Unknown - lace, seambinding, brads and a charm
Basic Grey - Sticker letters
I also used a book, some elastic ribbon and a planner

You can find the tutorial in Ett Trykk Magazine 3/2014.
Please stop by the Ett Trykk blog to see our inspiration every day until christmas eve.

Thanks for stopping by today,
Wishing you a great week!

DT Ett Trykk: Counting down for Christmas

Happy Saturday friends and followers,

Today I want to show you a advent calendar I made for the October edition of Ett Trykk Magazine.
It's made using Marianne Skjelstads tutorial over at the Pion Design blog. I love these calendars, I made one last year too.

Papers are Maja Design, The sentiment stamps are by Norsk Stempelblad AS. I used the La La Land Crafts Filigree corner dies, Martha Stewart edge punch, the branch dies are by Cheery Lynn Design , I cut the little tags and numbers using my Silhouette. The gingerbread lineup is a Lifestyle Crafts dies, and the berries are by Magnolia.

The little box is filled with numbered tags, one for each day of December until Christmas Eve.

Here is Unwrapped Tilda.

I masked Lucia with the Welcome to a Sweet Christmas background stamp.

Here is Tilda hiding gift. All colored using my Copic markers.

Enjoy your advent!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today,
wishing you a creative saturday.
