DT Ett Trykk: Mothers day

Happy Friday, friends and followers!

I want to a show you another card I made for the February edition of the Norwegian Magazine Ett Trykk. It's one more card for mother's day.

I used Pion Design papers;  Sagan om Våren. The postmark stamps are by Kort og Godt and  I used a Martha Stewar punch on some of the edges. The beautiful die cut around the image is from Marianne Design. The green Shabby Seam Binding is from the Live &Love Craft Store. The doily and ribbon is from my stash, the pearls are Melissa Frances.  I used my sewing machine and walnut stain distress ink along the edges of the papers.

I coloredTailor Tilda image with Distress ink pads and markers. Colors used: Vintage Photo, Tattered rose, Antique Linnen, Walnut Stain, Black Sooth and Peeled Paint.

The gorgeous Vintage Findings pearl centers, jute twine and beige lace are from the Live &Love Craft Store  The sentiment about mother is from Norsk Stempelblad AS, it's stamped on a small spellbinder scalloped oval diecut.

The pins are the Cream Vintage Pearls by Maya Road, the cute little Vintage Wood Mini Sewing Spools and  the Vintage Dress Form Clip are all from the Live &Love Craft Store.  I also used some cheese cloth as one of the layers.

Hope you like it!

GDT på Copic Marker Norge!

Hei!

***

I was honored to be asked to be a guest designer over at Copic Marker Norge! The theme for the new challenge is to make a Shabby chic Christmas card.

Her er kortet mitt.

***
I used papers from Maja Designs Christmas collection 2011.  The lace and pearls are from a local store.I used Magnolia and Spellbinder dies. The snowflakes stamps are from Magnolia, and the sentiment is from Kreativ Hobby.

Stempelet er fra Magnolia og heter Tilda with a gift.
Copicsene jeg har brukt er:

Hud: E13-11-00-000,
Hår: E49--29-27-25-31;
Kjole: E44-42-41,W1
Sokker: W7-5-3-1-00, E44-42-41,
Gave: E09-07-R02-E00,
Vinger W5-3-1

I hjørnene og på swirlen, har jeg embosset med hvitt embossing pulver, jeg har sydd med symaskin rundt kantene og distresset med distress ink. På juletrediecut'en har jeg laget små perler med Liquid Pearl- opal white.
***
I used white embossing powder in the corners and on the swirl. I stitched the edges of the papers with  my sewing machine and distressed the edges with distress ink. I also added Liquid Pearl to the Tree- die cuts.

Slik ser kortet ut på innsiden. Die'en er fra Spellbinders.

CMN bloggen finner du som vanlig masse inspirasjon fra de utrolig dyktige damene i designteamet og alt du trenger å vite for å delta i utfordringen.

Tailor Tilda

Hi bloggers!

Happy Sunday! Today I want to show you my DT card for the Live & Love Crafts Inspiration and challengeblog.

We are showcasing the beautiful Riddersholm papers this week. They are perfect for that soft, shabby chic feeling I wanted to create on this card.
I also used a little peace of scrap paper, a doily and a piece of corrugated cardboard.

I colored the Magnolia Taylor Tilda with Tim Holtz distress ink pads. I used my sewing machine along the edges and glued on some Bakers Twine cotton thread.

I used the gorgeous  Alecon Lace, and Hortensia flowers- petal pink along with flowers from Kort og Godt flowers. The sentiment stamp is from Kreativ Hobby.

I found the perfect charms for this card in the Live & Love craft store:  The Singer Sewing Machine from Reprint, and the Maya Road Love Hangar.

I mainly used the papers  to decorate the inside, a piece of scrap paper, Martha Stewart punch, a doily and some swirl-stamps for the edges of the circle. I used my sewing machine and Tim Holtz distress ink- vintage photo, to distress all the edges.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:
Magnolia Stamp lovers: Sugar (Tilda only)
Allsorts challengeblog: Distressing (to color the image and distress all the edges).

Hope you like it! Thanks for stopping by! Wishing you a wonderful Sunday!

Tilda's Town Challenge #8

Happy Friday everyone!

It's time for challenge # 8 over at Tilda's Town.
This week we ask you to

Show us your favorite Tilda!

Fun challenge, right?! I certainly had lots of fun coloring my favourite Tilda, and putting this card together.

Link up here for a chance to win a $15 Gift Certificate to Tilda’s Town online Magnolia store, with your Magnolia creation, remember you have to use Tilda stamp this time!
Pop over to the challenge blog to be inspired by the wonderful creations of the DT and to join us in the fun!

Here's my card:

I used papers from the lovely Maja Designs Vintage Summer basic. I also used Magnolia Doohickey's: So wrapped lovely (heart) and Heart swirl. On the edge of the image I used the swirly lace (also doohickey's). I used Mulberry flowers, and pearls on string from Kort og Godt, cheese cloth, lace and charms from stash. The sentiment stamp is from Whimsey stamps, the postmark stamp is from Kort og godt. I distressed the edges with vintage photo distress ink and used my sewing machine. i also put some corrugated cardboard in there!

I colored my sweet sweet Tilda with floating hearts from the Prince and Princess collection with distress ink pads. I'm having lots of fun practicing coloring with distress inks! I love it because it's so much softer than copics. (don't get me wrong, I love my Copics too...lol!)

Here's a closeup of some of the details.

And finally, the card again!

Wishing you a wonderful weekend! Don't forget to ink up and play along with us in Tilda's Town!

I would like to enter the following challenges with my card:
