Live & Love Crafts 1 year anniversary Blog Hop

Good morning friends and followers.

Today I'm part of a celebration. The Live & Love Craft inspiration and challengeblog is having a Blog Hop to celebrate the store's one year anniversary! As a former DT member and huge LLC fan, I am delighted to join in.

If you’re here for the hop, you should have arrived from the talented and supersweet Louise

Otherwise, please return to the LLC Blog and start the hop from there.

 Blog Hop Order:
Elizabeth - You are here!

The theme of this fabulous hop is "LLC favourites”, and let me tell you
I had lots of fun splurgeing into my LLC stuff- how to choose what my favourites are?
Sooooo hard because I love everything in the store...lol..
For my project I chose my all time favourite the Alecon lace- it's gorgeous, so soft and delicate! I also had to use one of my newest additions to my stash: Frantage- goes perfectly with every vintage project I make. And the Maya Road pearl pins and Creative Charms Pearl brads I could not live without. Same goes for the Kort og Godt rolled roses and berries and of course the Shabby Seam binding. And last but not least the Pion Design papers. I could go on, but I think it's time to show you my project.

I made a suitcase gift box using a tutorial I found in a 2011 Magnolia Ink magazine. I used Pion Papers, Almas sewing room collection, and a vintage image by Pion. The beautiful Alecon laceKort og Godt rolled roses and berriesCreative Charms Pearl brads, some blue Shabby Seam bindingMaya Road pearl pins, some WOC roses.  I added crackle paint to the corners and wires of the suitcase to make it look like leather.

I used shabby blue Frantage on the image and on some of the flowers.

I used pion papers on the inside, and put some yummy LLC goodies in:

Your next stop is Sandy
Don't forget to leave her lots of love. She's been working so hard this year to build the store and the blog, and she is so talented- go have a look!

Finnally, here's a peak at the prizes:
The main prize is a gift certificate for the LLC store.

If you leave a comment on every stop on you hop, you will also be in the draw for one of these goodies!

Thanks for stopping by,
Have fun hopping!

I'm totally in Christmas mood these days, so I made a winter/ Christmas card in pinks using the wonderful sketch by Louise at the Magnolia Down Under Challenges.

I used papers from the lovely Pion Design. This one is the Angels Choir 6x6 from the Silent Night collection. The dies I used are form spellbinder and Magnolia Doohickey's. I also used Magnolia snowflake stamps around the card.I distressed the edges with Tim Holtz vintage photo distress ink, and sewed around the edges with my sewing machine. I added a layer of cheesecloth

This Magnolia is called Tilda with snow heart.
I colored her with Distress ink pads and markers.

I used roses from Wild Orchid Flowers and the gorgeous Mulberry Paper Poppies flower.
The little Bell charm is from Bildmålarna.

These gorgeous brads are the Vintage Pearl brads from Creative Charms.

The gorgeous papers are displayed on the inside.
I also used a spellbinder die and some pearls from Panduro.

Hope you are inspired to create your own Pink project in the spirit of the good cause!

Live & Love Craft Sunday Inspiration

Hi everyone,
I hope you are all having a wonderful Sunday Morning!
Today I'm posting a card I made for the Live & Love Craft Challenge and Inspiration blog. We are showcasing Pion Design papers this week, so here is what I made with papers from the gorgeous Silent Night Collection.

I used the lovely bluetone Guardian Angels 6x6 papers from Pion Designs Silent Night Collection.

I Used Cheesecloth under the Image and Light blue Jute Ribbon and some lace from my stash. I distressed the edges with Tim Holtz distress ink- vintage photo, and I used my sewing machine around the edges.  I put Tim Holtz crackle paint in the Cheesecloth and on the Prima Snowdrops flowers to create the illusion of snow.

The image is a Magnolia: Winter Nigth background.  I colored it with Distress ink pads. I heat embossed around the edges and on the snowflakes on the image and I used Sickles Glitter glue on the star.

I used one of my favourite for all seasons: the Vintage Pearl Pins by Maya Road, I also used the Crystal Drops and the sweet Santa's Sled Charm from Bildmålarna.

I hope you have been visiting the LLC blog this week, the DT made such gorgeous creations! If not stop by to have a look. You still have the chance to make some great buys in the LLC Store because Sandy has a sale going on this weekend!

Live & Love craft inspiration- Picking berries.

H there! It's my turn to post on the Live & Love Craft Inspiration and Challengeblog today. (By the way, did you se my gorgeous new DT badge on my sidebar!) We have a fall theme going on this week, and we were asked to make a project with hunting, berries or mushrooms. I encourage you to stop by the blog too see the beautiful projects the DT has posted this week. For my project I made a gift box with a  strawberry theme.

I made the base out of green cardstock and covered it with the lovely Pion Design papers, I used both sides of the Pink Dots 12x12 sheet from the Fairytale of Spring Collection. I used a Quick Kutz die to make the bottom and the top of the lid. I punched the design papers with a Martha steward punch and added some lace. The green cardstock I chose was too bright to match the project, so I covered it with some  Tim Holtz Distress Crackle Paint, Picket Fence to soften it up, and it worked perfectly.

The flowers used are the  Hortensia flowers from Papercraft Scandinavia,  Roses With Glass Pearls  from Kort og Godt, and Resin Blossoms from Maya Road. As usual I used my favorites, the Trinklet heart pins and Vintage Pearl Pin from Maya Road. The cute Strawberry charms are from my stash. I also used some of the pretty Jute fabric.

I masked two magnolia stamps on the lid of the box. I used the Strawberry Yummy Tilda from the Sweet Rainbow Collection and the Lace Jar from the Yummy For Your Tummy Collection

Here's the stamped image. I colored it very softly with  Tim Holtz distressink pads and markers .
And the lid looks like this:

Hope you like it!
Don't forget to visit the LLC blog for some more inspiration, and please visit the LLC Store to see all the gorgeous new products!

Thanks for stopping by.
Wishing you a wonderful Saturday!

Live & Love Craft Sunday Inpiration- Recycling!

Good morning crafters.

Today was my turn to make a recycled project for the Live & Love Craft inspiration and challengeblog. Mine is the last of our recycling inspiration projects this week, so pop over to the LLC-blog to see what the rest of the DT have displayed during the week.

I used an old hair- color packaging to make a piggy bank. I thought it would be a fun gift for a friend who always says she wants to go to Paris, but it's never a priority... I hope this will give her an excuse to put some change aside, so who knows.. maby she will see Paris sooner than later:)

This is what I used as a base for my little piggy bank,
some leftovers from me trying to cover up my grey hairs.. lol.

It looks much better now, don't you think:

I used Pion Papers, this one is the Blue Pansy 6x6 from the For Mother Collection. On the front I stamped two swirls with my Prima stamps, added a diecut with a coin-hole and painted it all with Tim Holtz Distress Crackle Paint, Picket Fence. Then I distressed the corners with Vintage Photo distress inks. The blue roses are from Wild Orchid Flowers.

Here is what it looks like from the top:
I glued the gorgeous Alençon lace around the box as a base. On the top I added cheese cloth, some corrugated cardboard, and a tag I made from Pion Desingn paper. The flowers are a Gardenia flower and Roses With Glass Pearls  from Kort og Godt. I also used some pearl string. The punch I've used is from Martha Stewart. The tag with the Eiffel Tower is form Sagene Vintage Design. The little white berries are also from Kort og Godt.

Here is another one of the gorgeous Kort og Godt flowers, and a Vintage Pearl Pin from Maya Road.

Here's the other side of the box. The tag is Tim Holtz, the charms are from my stash.

I hope we inspired you to use what you have around the house to CREATE!

I would like to enter my box into the Stamp Artic September challenge: Tag. (I've used 2 tags on the top of the box and one on the side)
Papirdokkene: #34 Ferden videre (den går til Paris...)
Wishing you a wonderful Sunday!
