Tutorial: Easy to make pyramid placement cards/ Pyramide- bordkort

Hi crafty friends,

I found this tutorial I made for Ett Trykk ages ago on my computer, and I realised I never blogged it. So I figured I would today.

I made these for a confirmation in the family, my niece chose the colors and her mother picked the fold ;)

Materials needed: Cardstock, patterned paper, cutting board, bonefolder, glue, ink for distressing, a small butterfly punch, roses and rosebuds and a glue-gun. For each placement card you need to cut 3 pieces of 3 x 3 inches of cardstock and 1 piece of 2 6/8 inches x 2 6/8 of patterned paper.

Score the cardstock and patterened paper down the middle using your cutting board and bonefolder.

Distress the edges using distress ink walnut stain. Glue the patterned paper to one of the cardstock pieces.
Glue the pieces together as shown in the pictures.
Hold the pieces in place for a few seconds to make sure it dries in place.
Cut 3 butterflies using your punch. Distress the edges and make a small fold in the middle to get a 3d effect. Curl the wire on the roses to a curly stalk.

Adhere the roses, rosebuds and butterflies on the placecard.
Print the names on cardboard. Cut 1/2 inch x as- long- as- you- like- them- to- be strips around the names and use a corner punch on each sides. Distress the edges. Glue on to the pyramid.

And here are the finished cards. Very easy to mass- produce!
Her er resultatet. Veldig enelt å lage og lett å masseprodusere!

Hope this was useful!

have a great week!

Baby set- invitation, place card, thank you card

Hi friends,
We are loving summer in Norway this year, it's so hot we can't hardly believe it!!! So not much crafting on my end I'm afraid. All we can do is hide in the water at the beach to cool down...lol. But I get my copics out every now and then, and do some coloring in the shade, so I will have lots of fun stuff to show you once I get the images on some cards. Until then, here's a set I made a while ago. Invitation,  place card and thank you card.

Materials used:
Papers: Pion Design
Ribbon: Kort og Godt
Dies: Memorybox (swirl), Spellbinder scalloped circle, Lifestyle craft circle, Sizzix banner die.
Punch: Martha Stewart doily lace and Butterfly boarder punches.
Stamp: Magnolia

Here's the invitation, shaped like an envelope with ribbon to open and close.
Images are colored using distress inks. The letters are an old QK alphabet called Olivia.

Inside I used an old Fancy Pants journalling stamp.

For the place card I simply folded a triangle and decorated the front.

...and here's the thank you card. Pretty Clean and Simple to be me. I added some pearls, but that's it:)

Hope you like it!
Thanks for stopping by,
hope you are enjoying your summer days!

Tutorial: Wedding place cards

Hello crafty friends and followers,
Today I want to show you a tutorial I made for wedding placement cards for the Ett Trykk Magazine 0114.

I used the mini Bridal Couple by Magnolia , Sentiment by Stempelglede (faith, hope and love)
Papers by Maja Design- Sofiero collection,
Roses and rose buds by WOC, pearls by Papirdesign, pearl hearts from stash.
Dies used are Spellbinder Decorative Labels 28, circle dies (3.2 cm in diameter) by Lifestyle crafts , a corner punch and Copic Sketch Marker E37 .

Here's how:
1 What you need: Score board, die cut machine, dies in two sizes , a small sirkeldie , cardboard, design paper , an acrylic block and a stamp (magnolia mini used) , a sentiment stamp, ink and a marker for stamping. I have also added some pearls.

 2 Cut a large ( 10.8 x 7.8 cm ) and a small die ( 8 x 5.2 cm ) , and patterned paper (8.9 x 6.2cm )

3 Use score board to find the center of the largest die and score.

4 I used the score board to remove 1 cm in the middle of the small die cut as shown.

 5 Use the corner punch.

6 Stamp mini bride and groom on a white cardboard. I use brown ink to get a softer impression . Cut  a circle in the image. I chose not to color the image because I wanted to avoid too many colors.

7. Distress edges carefully, using Walnut Stain Distress ink and place as illustrated. Embellish with flowers and beads. I have stamped the text "faith, hope and love" on the back  using Copic Sketch marker E37 instead of ink to get a vintage look .
The names of the guests are printed from my computer with brown ink on white cardboard and cut to as little pennants .

Hope you like it:)

Thanks for stopping by my blog today,
Wishing you a wonderful creative weekend.
