Birthday card- homespun style!

I made this card very much inspired by this weeks Midweek Magnolias. The challenge is to be inspired by this picture and the homespun style.
I had lots of fun making this card, stitching and using colors a bit out of my comfortzone:)
Over at the Magnolia Mania blog I had fun blog-hopping, celebrating their 1st blogaversary. Happy birthday to you!

I used papers from Maja Design and Peon design, lots of lave and some fabric, i used my sewingmaching and handstiching for the sewing around the edges, lots of distressink, QK dies for the swirl, flowers, pearls, and stickers.

The Magnoliastamp is "Tilda with cherries". I colored it with copics. Skin: E 13-11-00, Hair: E49-47-44-27-35, Dress: R 89-83-81, BG 15-10-0, Socks: C1-00, Shadow: W5-3-1

No girls allowed

I allmost always make cards with girls on them, or for girls. The CES Crafty Emma Stor challenge this time around was to make a card with no girls allowed. So I made this Edwin- superman card :) Lots of fun. I had to sneek in a little pink, i think its in my cardmaking genes;)

It turned out pretty clean and simple. Bazzil only, spellbinders for shapes and some ribbon.

I colored the stamp with copics.

Springtime

Hi.
I made this card for
the great Totally Tilda challenge blog, the challenge this week was to use a Tilda holding a flower or a bunch of flowers.
and for the wonderful Shabby Tearoom challenge blog, the challenge was to be inspired by this picture, using lilacs, yellow, blue, kraft and a butterfly.

Here's my card:

I used the lovely Peon design paper, QK dies for the sircles and swirls, bulberry flowers and butterfly, some ribbon and pearls. The inner sircle is kraft. The words says "congratulations on your birthday" in Norwegian.

I put the two stamps Tilda with Daisy and Shy Rose Edwin together, and colored them with my copics.
The card has an open circle in the front to show the image inside. The inside looks like this:

Thank you for visiting my blog. I'd love it if you leave a comment:)
ENJOY spring and happy easter!

Moves and folds

I challenged myself to make a different  kind of card this time, for me anyway. I came a cross several bloggers and crafters making a foldingcard and was inspired to try something new. This is my take at the following two challenges:
Magnolialicious Highlites where the March challenge was to make a card that moves and groves.
The Just Magnolias challenge was to make a project with more than one fold.
Inspired by lots of blogging and the great DT's of the two great challengeblogs, this is what I came up with:

It opens two times. First like this:

and then one more time...

I used Melissa Frances papers, Bazzil, Flowers, pearls,  spellbinders for the shapes, Martha Stewart punch for the edges. and some ribbon.
I used one of my old Magnolia stamps: tilda with a birthday cake, and I made one more of those and cut the cake out for the front of the card. The Magnolia inside is part of a tilda on the loose- stamp.

The stamps are colored with copics: Tilda on the loose. Hair: E47-39-37-35-31, Hat: E57-53-51, Skin: E13-11-00, Dress: G21-82-00-BG10, 0, Shadow: W5-3-1
Tilda with birthdaycake: Hair: E57,47,39.35, Dress; R89, 85-81, Shoes: E57-53-51, Cake: C3-1-00

Hope you like it! Thank you for visiting my blog!
