Pion Design Week at LLC.

Some of my international crafting friends have been asking me if the

Romantic Sunday at Live & Love Crafts

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend! 

Today it's my turn to show my project over at the Live & Love Crafts Inspiration and Challengeblog. I found this book card tutorial and I decided I had to try out.

The lovely soft colors of the Maja Design Vintage Summer Basic collection is perfect for the romantic summer feeling I wanted. I used the product-line of the paper sheet on the end of the book. That gorgeous lace on the front is the Alecon Lace, it's my favourite lace ever! 

I colored the Magnolia Tilda With Hawaiian flower with Distress ink pads .

  I used pearl string f around the edge of the paper. The flowers are from Kort og Godt.

I decorated the inside with the lovely papers and the Magnolia Doohickey's Vintage Tag.

I stamped it with Kort og Godt postmark stamps to create that vintage feel. I distressed all the edges with Vintage Photo Distress ink. 

I also used my sewing machine around the edges of the papers and the image. 

I used spellbinders to make the round shape for the Kreativ Hobby sentiment stamp. I made the small pearls around the circle with drops of  Liquid Pear- white opal.

Here are some details. The flowers are from Kort og Godt, the  gorgeous pins are Maja Roads Vintage Trinket Heart pins and Trinket Mini Heart pins.

I also used some cheese cloth under the flowers and charm.

Tilda's Town Challenge #8

Happy Friday everyone!

It's time for challenge # 8 over at Tilda's Town.

Fun challenge, right?! I certainly had lots of fun coloring my favourite Tilda, and putting this card together.

Here's my card: 

I used papers from the lovely Maja Designs Vintage Summer basic. I also used Magnolia Doohickey's: So wrapped lovely (heart) and Heart swirl. On the edge of the image I used the swirly lace (also doohickey's). I used Mulberry flowers, and pearls on string from Kort og Godt, cheese cloth, lace and charms from stash. The sentiment stamp is from Whimsey stamps, the postmark stamp is from Kort og godt. I distressed the edges with vintage photo distress ink and used my sewing machine. i also put some corrugated cardboard in there!

I colored my sweet sweet Tilda with floating hearts from the Prince and Princess collection with distress ink pads. I'm having lots of fun practicing coloring with distress inks! I love it because it's so much softer than copics. (don't get me wrong, I love my Copics too...lol!)

Copic Marker Norges Sommerkonkurranse!

Jeg har laget et bidrag til Copic Marker Norges sommerkonkurranse, del 1. Oppgaven denne gangen var enkel: Å lage noe med copic tusjer. Så får vi se om jeg blir med til neste runde eller ikke:)
Jeg har kost meg skikkelig med copic tusjene til dette bildet. Jeg fikk det for meg at jeg skulle prøve meg på noen skyer på himmelen bak Tilda. Etter "ørten" forsøk og utallige youtube videoer, særlig denne, og bloggtutorials rundt omkring så fikke jeg til skyer  til slutt.
Her er kortet:

Fordi stempeltrykket ble så stort, så lagde jeg et"3-lags" kort, hvor jeg festet stempeltrykket på forsiden av kortet og laget en ekstra forside som jeg festet foran (se bilder under) med en åpning som viser bare deler av stempelt, så det ikke skulle bli så dominerende på forsiden av kortet. Jeg har brukt papirer fra Maja Design fra Live & Love crafts, Quick Kutz dies, Magnolia doohickey's: Lovely Lace, scalloped dottet lace og Doily Flowers. Pyntestrå i sirkel fra Kort og Godt, Mulberry blomster, en anker charms jeg hadde liggende, blonde og bånd er også fra stashet mitt. Kantene er sotet med Vintage photo distress ink, og jeg har sydd langs kantene med symaskin. 

Jeg har maskert Magnoliastemplene Tilda Unanchor sammen med bakgrunnsstempelet: Pier Background.

Magnolia Mania challenge #50: Merry Christmas

It's time for my final GDT challenge at the Magnolia Mania challengblog. This fortnight the challenge is Marry Christmas. No sign of summer here in Norway, so making Christmas cards seems only natural... lol.

The lovely ladies of the design-team has some wonderful creations over at the challenge blog for you, hop over and take a look!

Here's my card:

I used some scrap- Christmas paper, I don't remember who made it, sorry. I distressed some corrugated cardboard with distress inks, and put some liquid pearl on to create a sense of snow.  

 I used liquid pearl on some of the stamps to get that snowy look. A page from an old book and some cheese cloth. The "northpole" postmarks stamp is form Kort og Godt. Other than that the stamps are the "embellishments" on this one.

I colored my images with copics. For the coats I used BV 23 and 20 and blender. I used lots of colors on this, so if anyone is interested let me know and I'll tell you:)

Live & Love Crafts challenge #1

Hi, I'm back again with a premiere this time. The lovely Sandra has just opened her own online crafting store Live & Love Craft with all the wonderful vintage and shabby chic crafting supply you can imagine! I was so happy when she asked me to join the DT! The store also has a challenge and inspiration blog. Every 1st of the month there will be a new challenge for you to join. The talented ladies of the design team will have lots of inspiration for you to get you started. The very first challenge in honor of the season is

Nautic

I had lots of fun with the gorgeous design papers and made a gift box for my daughters kindergarten, she had her last day this Friday. We filled it with homemade bookmarks for each of the wonderful women there. It was a big success! And we all had tears in our eyes when we said goodbye for the last time. Now shes starting school in the fall. I can't believe she's such a big girl now! 

Well enough allready, here's my project:

I used papers from the Lovely Maja Designs Life by the sea collection.

I made a box from cardstock to get the size I wanted. 

I put some ribbon on the sides, and attached dolphin and sea-star charms. 

Here's my  Tilda Unanchor. The background stamp is the Pier background also from Magnolia. I masked the two together.

I've been practicing with distres ink for a while now, and finally feel like I'm getting the hang of it!

I use Rangers Tim Holtz distress ink pads.
The resin peaces (corners) are Melissa Frances Garnihs Applique, the lace around the image is Camel lace from Riddersholm.

 I loved this compass charm the minute I saw it! I used some rope-like ribbon, cheesecloth and pearl string. 

 I used Mulberry flowers, and the big one is a Gardenia flower, the others are roses. I painted some Tim Holtz Cracle Paint on the flowers, distressed it with vintage photo and finally put some liquid pearls on the leaf edges.

I decorated the inside with Maja Design's Life by the Sea papers.  I used a Martha Stewart punch for the edges, and I wrote a little note. 

A little present for each of the lovely ladies. The tag is Magnolia doohicke's Romantic Tag.

I'm so happy to be ask to join the Norwegian challengeblog Anonyme Scrappere. This is my first DT post for them, so I will be posting in Norwegian!
