GDT The Papernest Dolls: Pop up card

Hi crafty friends,

Today I'm showcasing another one of the very cute Paper Nest Dolls images. This card is  custom made for my daughters best friend. She wanted me to make a special card with "something that pops up". So I made one of these cute "exploding boxes". I used this tutorial by Sandi McIver as a starting point. I made mine bigger to go with my colored images. 

I used some scrap papers, I don't know where they are from cause I cut of the product strip, but the colors are fun and festive- perfect for a little girl's birthday. I used Lifestyle and Magnolia dies. The balloons are small spellbinder ovals and the butterfly is by Marianne design. 

Sentiments are by Norsk Stempelblad AS.

DT Copic Marker Europe: Confirmation card

Hi copic friends, 

Here's my May- inspiration for the Copic Marker Europe blog. I made a card for a confirmand, a lovely young woman, using brighter and happier colors than my usual 90's range (with lots of grey in them). 

I used my copics to color the purple butterflies in the same color as the dress. The papers are byMaja Design and some scrap-papers. I used Martha Stewart punches and dies by Memorybox and Tim Holtz. Flowers By WOC and sentiments by Norsk Stempelblad AS. Swirl stamps by Stempelglede.

 The image is by Saturated Canary. I loved coloring the wavy long hair,! 

Copic colors used: 

Skin: E13-11-21-000, R20 for the cheeks and R20, E93, E04 for the lips. 

Hair: E59-57-55-53-51-50. 

Dress: V09-06-04-15-12. 

Skirt: B00-02-05, W7. 

For the dotted background: B00-01, C1, W00.

I used my blender to make the dots on the dress. 

Here's the in side of the card. The sentiment on the bottom is actually a money clip.

DT CMN: Fancy Fold

Det er tid for en ny utfordring hos Copic Marker Norge i dag. Vi utfordrer dere til å lage et brettekort, selvsagt med motiv fargelagt med copics. Her kan bare fantasien sette grenser.

It's time for a new challenge over at Copic Marker Norge. Our challenge this month is fancy fold! We want to see you use some of those fun card folds out there. You also need to use a copic colored image to join. I made an explosion card, following Camilla's tutorial. 

I used papers from Maja Design. Here's the card folded into a box.

GDT Ett Trykk: Smile it's your birthday!

Hi friends, 

Stopping by today to show you a card I made for Ett Trykk April Edition. It is a birthday card for young girl using the lovely Princess Rose colored as the Disney Princess Belle from Beauty and the Beast. 

I dag viser jeg frem et kort jeg laget for aprilutgaven av Ett Trykk. Et bursdagskort til en ung jente. 

 I used a very soft color- palette on the background to make the image pop. The gorgeous papers and cut out butterflies are by Maja Design. Doily die by Prima and Swirl die by Magnolia. 

Jeg brukte duse, bleke farger på papir og pynt for å få motivet til å stå frem litt mer. Ark og sommmerfugler fra Maja design, dies fra Prima og Magnolia.
