Once upon a time at the Midweek Magnolias

Good morning friends and followers,

It's wednesday and time for a new challenge over at the Midweek Magnolias.
This time it's all about the fairytales for us,
we want you to use your imagination and your Magnolias
to create something with the theme

Once upon a time...

Here's my inspiration for you:

The papers are by Prima, and the dies are by Spellbinders. I used a Martha Stewart punch along the edges, and the sentiments are by Norsk Stempelblad AS and are all about birthdays. The flowers are by WOC and Kort og Godt.  I distressed the edges with walnut stain distress ink. The blue pearls are from my stash.

I colored the image, Pirate Tilda, with distress ink markers. I used tattered rose and vintage photo for the skin, tattered rose and aged mahogany for the cheeks. The dress, flag and scarf are colored with blue jeans and antique linen. I used black sooth and walnut stain for the shadows and boots.

Please stop by the Midweek Magnolias to see the gorgeous creations of my teamies and join in for a chance to win an exciting surprise gift from Magnolia in Sweden.

I would like to enter the following challenges.
You, Me and Magnolia- Anything Goes
Lovely hAnglar or Sweet Magnolia: #76 Punches or dies
Live & Love crafts challenge: (warm or) Cool colors
Marvelous Magnolias: Lots of lovely layers

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today!
Wishing you a creative day!

  5. Hi Elizabeth! I liked a lot the design of this card. It's not the first time I see the card folded that way, and I also made myself of that kind, but your came out very successful. The Spellbinders label dies are just in place here as well.

    Hugs :)
