Masking tutorial- 3 stamps

Hi peeps,
Hope you are doing well. I'm busy behind the scenes at the moment, I'll show you later what I'm making these days. Today I have a masking tutorial for you.
I made this card using three stamps
...and here's how I did the masking :

1.  Start with the image you want to be in front. Stamp it on a  sticky note.  I try to get as much of the image on the sticky part as possible.

 2. Cut the image with scissors and blade.

 3. Repeat with the second image (bench) and get your background stamp ready.

 4. Start by stamping the front image.

 5. Cover your image with your sticky note mask. Stamp the second image on top.

 6. Place the bench mask to cover the bench, and stamp the window on top.

 7. Remove the masks... ta da... your image is ready for color!

Here's my finished image. I colored it with my Copic Markers.

Materials used:
Pion Design Vintage Garden – Phlox 6x6.
Magnolia – Sitting Tilda with butterfly, Bench and Romantic Window.
Norsk Stempelblad AS - Sentiment
Magnolia – Tilda lace die
WOC – roses
The  Ribbon Girls – Pearl pins
Kort og Godt – Krysanthemum

Hope you like it!

Thanks for stopping by my blog today,
Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

DT Ett Trykk- Pirate birthday card

Hello freinds and bloggers,

I hope you are doing well! Winter is finally here and my daughter finally got to try her new skies! She loved it. It's cold, but we kind of love it! The world is filled with beautiful white snow and it almost feels like it's still Christmas...lol. But no more Christmas cards for a while! Today I wanted to show you a card I made for Ett Trykk Magazine. The theme was masking, and I made this birthday card with a Pirate theme.
Pirat bursdagskort- kort med 3 lag.
The papers are Pion Design -Vintage Garden, the stamps are
Pirat Edwin, Pirat Tilda and Pier background by Magnolia, the sentiment on the inside is by Norsk Stempelblad AS.
I used Tim Holtz Grunge board and black fluid chalk, circle dies by Lifestyle craft and some corrugated cardboard and brads from my stash.
The images are masked tighter and I colored them with distress inks.
The card is made using 3 layers with a window in the front layer.
Here's the inside.
Pretty simple card really, suitable for one of my daughters little boy- classmates:)
Hope you like it!

Thanks for stopping by,
wishing you a creative day!

DT Midweek Magnolias- first challenge of 2014

Good morning peeps,
The Midweek Magnolias are back with the first challenge of the year today, and we want to see you use some of those christmas presents (or maybe you didn't get any crafty stuff- so you had to take care of it yourself lol...)
Anyway, we want to see some new stash on your card this time.

Here's mine:

I got myself this beautiful swirl die just before christmas. I love it. Goes with anything I make these days. It's Memorybox Whimsical Floral.
I used Maja Design papers, the paper behind the image is homemade from stamping a Stempelglede swirl stamps on a white cardboard with embossing ink and embossing it with Frantage shabby pink.
Flowers are WOC and Kort og Godt. Spellbinder die and Magnolia lovely fence die.
Some shabby seam binding and pearl pins from the LLC store.

 I'm longing for spring already,
so I inked up this cute Tilda with water can with my distress inks.

I also used a Martha stewart punch on the edge of the DP. Sentiment is by Norsk Stempelblad AS.

Hope you like it! Please stop by the Midweek Magnolias to see the gorgeous creations of my talented DT colleagues, and join us for a chance to win a wonderful surprise from magnolia in Sweden.

I would like to enter the following challenges:
Tilda's Town: Something New
