CMN #45 Christmas paperbag card

Good morning friends,

Today I have another paper bag card to show you. We have a brand new challenge for you over at Copic Marker Norge today.
We want you to make a chrismas card using the sketch we made for you.
You can find the sketch on the Copic Marker Norge blog.

Here's my card:
I used papers from Papirdesign. I used a Martha Stewart border punch and snowflake punch, a spellbinders poinsettia die and a La La Land tree die. The postmark stamps are by Kort og Godt. The sentiment is a border from a Maja Design paper. I used my sewing machine along the edges and distressed the edges with distress inks as always:)

I colored this cute La la land Lantern Marci image.
Copics used:
Skin: E13-21-11-00-000, E93
Hair: E09-07-13-15-18, W7
Dress and bow on hat: BG99-96-93-90
Coat, hat, shoes: E47-44-43-42-41-40, W5
Lantern: C5-3-1-00, YR 23-20, Y11

Here's the card tag inside. I used a Magnolia doohickey die for the tag.

Pop over to the Copic Marker Norge blog to see the sketch and join us in the challenge. The DT ladies have made some beautiful creations to inspire you.

Have fun!

DT Midweek Magnolias: Boo- hoo

Good morning peeps,

I want to show you the card I made for the new challenge over at the Midweek Magnolias.
This time we want to see lots of layers on your project.
Don't forget to take a look at the rules before you enter if you want to be in the draw for the fabolous surprise gift from Magnolia in Sweden.

My daughter is all about Halloween these days, so I made another halloween card for this challenge:

Besides from black cardstock and pages from an old book with sheet music, I used a Papirdesign paper and Spellbinders and Gocreate dies. Flowers and lace are by WOC, the apples and charms are from the Live and love craft store.

The cute Halloween Tilda is from an older collection- can't remember the name on her. I colored it with copic markers. Colors used:
Hair: E47-39-37-35-21-30, Skin: E11-00-000, R20 (cheeks)
Grey: W7-5-3-1-00

I used my old Quick Kutz squeeze to make the letters, Olivia alphabet.

Stop by the Midweek Magnolias to see the amazing creations of the rest of the DT and join in the challenge.

DT Unik Hobby- Paperbag card with Wee Stamps

Good morning, I hope your day is looking good!

I want to show you a paperbag card i made for the Unik Hobby blog this month.

I've been having lot's of fun making paperbag cards lately.
I adore these new Maja Design Papers, I want to use them for everything I make these days...lol.

I used gesso on the paperbag  before I decorated it with papers and stash. Lots of distressing going on here:)

I colored this super sweet Wimsy Stam: Hopeful by Wee Stamps with my Copic Markers.
Purple details/Lilla detaljer: V99-95-93-91
Ground/ Bakke og lykta: E35-33-31-30
Shadows/Skygge: B60, C1

Here's the card inside the paperbag. I made it from cardstock.

And the back of the card looks like this. oh I love these papers!

DT Copic Marker Norge #45

Good morning bloggers and friends,

It's time for a new challenge over at Copic Marker Norge.
Most of us have started making our christmas cards long ago (lol), but if you haven't; here's your chance:
We want to see christmas cards in all shapes and sizes this time, our challenge is simply:
Anything goes with Christmas.

Det er tirsdag og tid for en ny utfordring hos Copic Marker Norge.
Denne gangen er alt lov så lenge det har med jul å gjøre, så om du ikke har startet juleproduksjonen enda, så har du sjansen nå.

I've been wanting to ink up this Saturated Canary image for a while now. I figured it could work for christmas, even with pinks...lol- I told you it was anything goes...

I used the gorgeous Pion Design christmas papers from last years collection, lace by Kort og Godt, dies by Spellbinders and Magnolia, pearls are by Papirdesign and I used some Fran-tage shabby white around the image. I also stamped some Stempelglede swirls here and there.

I stamped the image with tattered rose distress inks to try to make a "no lines" effect, the image is a Little Darling rubber stamp by Saturated Canary. Copic Markers used:
Skin/Hud: E13-21-11-00-000, E93 for the cheeks.
Hair/Hår: E44-43-42-41
Wings and pinks/Vinger og rosa på kjolen: RV95-93-91, V000
Dress/Kjolen:W5-3-1-00
Star/Stjerne: YR24-23-20
Shadow/Skygge: B60, C1

I added Twinkles Diamond dust on the Spellbinder poinsettias.

Please stop by the Copic Marker Norge blog to be inspired by the gorgeous creations of my fellow dt members creations and join in our challenge.

Paperbag- second paper flower tutorial

Good evening friends and followers,
I while ago I showed you how I made flowers for this paper-gift bag. I promised you a tutorial on how to make the second flower on this bag- and here it is. You can find the first tutorial HERE.

Here's how to make this flower:

1. You need a die, a die-cutting machine, a few pages from an old book, a brad and distress ink if you want that aged look.

2. I used a Nesting doily cirkle die by Lifestyle crafts. The papers are so thin I could cut 4 or 5 layers.

3. I made my flower from 8 layers of paper.

4. Allign the papers. Make a hole in the center with a brad (works fine because the paper is so thin). The color  of the brad is not important because it won't show on the finished flower.

5. Now crunch each layer towards the center, one by one. Start with the top layer.

6. Continue with the next layer, then the next until you have curled all the layers.

7. Distress the edges with distress ink. I used Walnut stain on this flower.

8. Attach it to your project.

Here's the paper bag again. I made it for Ett Trykk Magazine  03/13. You can find the tutorial in Norwegian in the magazine.

Have fun crafting!

Wishing you a wonderful weekend!
