Hope you feel better....for a friend

Hi friends, 

Just popping by to wish you a happy easter today. I don't have an easter creation to show you, but a card I made for a friend who's been down with the flu.

I'm so into no-lines coloring these days, and I must say this is my favorite hair color!

 Papers are pion design, flowers by WOC and Kort og Godt. Dies by Magnolia, Spellbinders and Memorybox. I used some clear crackle paint on the butterflies. 

The image is Heart Strings by Saturated Canary. Copic colors used:

I also used: C5-3-1-00

Mini Smash book- GDT Ett Trykk

Hi peeps,

Today I want to show you a mini- smash book I made for the February Edition of Ett Trykk Magazine. I found this tutorial over at Stampin' Up by Papercraft Button.

Very cute and perfect for a little gift album.

Sentiments are by Norsk Stempelblad AS, Papers by Maja Design, Flowers and seam binding by Wild Orchid Craft, pearls by Panduro. Dies by Memorybox (Swirl),  Spellbinders (around the front image), and Go Create (tag dies inside the book).
The Seam binding was white so I used Copic color BV23 to get a matching color.

 The image is Kit by Saturated Canary ( I love her she's so pretty!)

DT Copic Marker Europe: Bookmark

Hi crafty friends,

Today I want to show you a bookmark I made for my daughter. She's 8 and she loves to read. This is one of my Copic Marker Europe projects this month.  

I got this Saturated Canary image a while back, and I thought it was perfect for a bookmark for her. Playful and fun. 

I used very few embellishments, because the bookmark has to be as flat as possible. I used papers by Maja Design, a Martha stewart punch and a Tim Holtz wooden charm. I used wax-thread with beads and charms for the "chain". 

 Because the image is the main decoration on the bookmark I had some fun playing with the background.

Copic Colors used: 

Hair. E18-15, YR18-14, E49

Skin: E13-11-21-000, R20. R22 for the lips with just a little E04

Purple: BV08,V09-17-15-12-000

Jeans and blue details: B99-97-95-93-91

"White": W7-3-1-00

DT CMN #65: Happy Easter chocholate card

Hi crafty friends, 

It's time for a brand new challenge over at Copic Marker Norge. This time we want to see spring colors or easter projects.  Here's my inspiration for the challenge. I made a chocholate card using Marianne's tutorial ( I just made it a little bigger). Thanks Marianne! 

Papers are by Papirdesign, I used Spellbinder dies: Large oval and Scalloped oval. Pearls and letter stickers from stash, and wooden charms by Tim Holtz. I painted the wooden charms with crackle paint- picket fence.

Here's the inside of the card with a big milk chocolate. 

And without the chocolate:) The card closes with a small magnet.

GDT Ett Trykk: Happy 10th anniversary!

I hope you are having a great weekend out there. I'm out sick with fever and a cold, so not much crafting going on right now. So bored, but too tired to get out of bed...lol. I figured I would do some blogging while I'm lying here! 

I wantet to show you a card I made for Ett Trykk Magazine, February edition 2015. It was the 10th year anniversary issue, and I'm so proud my card was on the cover:)

I have seen these types of cards around blogland, so I thought I could give it a try. I found a tutorial over at Stampin Up. I made it bigger and used colored images to decorate.

Materials used:

Holtz- Perfect Coloring Paper, 

Pion Design– design papers

Panduro - pearls

Dies: Spellbinders – scalloped cirkledies, La La Land Crafts – Heart banner, Magnolia – Heart tag, Martha Stewart – Butterfly edge punch, 

Silhouette - baloons
Ranger- Distress inks for the edges.

Images are Sweet Tilda with Balloon and Tiptoe Tilda.

I used the same copic colors on all 3 images and the balloons.

I left room for a personal message on the back. 

The butterflies are leftover from the Martha Stewart butterfly border punch. I colored them with the same copic markers as I did the images.

GDT The Paper Nest Dolls- Flower Friend

Hi friends, 

Hope you had a nice weekend. I had time for some crafting, luckily, and here's my GDT card for the Paper Nest dolls. I played with a fun fold I found over at the Ett Trykk blog, it's a slide card.

I made the card a little bigger than the template to make it fit the colored image.

I used papers by Bildmålarna, flowers by WOC (I colored them with my copics B63 to make the color fit the papers and image), Charms from ebay, dies are Spellbidners Large Oval and Scalloped Oval and Magnolia Lovely Fence and Marianne grass dies. 

The image is from the Fairytale collection over at The Paper Nest Dolls, this one is called Flower Friend. Copic Markers used: 

Skin: E13-11-21-000, R20

Hair: YR24-23, 14, Y21-11, E35-37

Dress: R000-02-20, E43, W1

Flower: B66-63-60, W3

Dots. C01, B60-63, W00-01

Here the slide card open. I stamped a Stempelglede sentiment on the lower part and made room for writhing on the top slide. Cute fold, isn't it?

 I used smaller versions of the spellbinder dies on the slides.
