Christmas card- Nativity.

Christine over at the Paper Nest Dolls asked me to do a GDT card using this new image Nativity.

I't is about time to get on to the christmas card making if I want to get them all done before christmas! So I dove in to it. I went with clean and simple this time.

Papers are Pion Design. Dies are La La land crafts (tree) and spellbinders (pointsettia). Sentiment die is by Lifestyle crafts.

I colored the Nativity scene with my copics. 

Not sure if I know what colors I used, but here's my best guess:

Skin: E000-21-11-13-04, R20

Her hair: E59-57-53-51

Her clothes: B99-97-95-93-91, W7 (blues) E18-07-24-22, W7 (reds)

His clothes: 

E37-35-33-32-30 and W7

Crib: E39-37-35-33-31

Shadow: w7-5-3-1-00

Konfirmasjonskort/ Confirmation card

Hi peeps, hope you are doing well. Hope you find the time to join our CMN blog hop and fall challenge, you will find it in THIS post!

Here's a card I made for a family members confirmation earlier this year. I love the green/pink color combo and the beautiful papers (I'm a total "Majamaniac"- lol, can you say that?) I used a sketch for this card, made by Åshild Halvorsen for Ett Trykk Magazine.

Her er et konfirmasjonskort jeg laget til en av familiens konfirmanter tildligere i år. Du har kanskje sett det i augustutgaven av Ett Trykk.

 Papers are kraft and white cardboard, dp from Maja Design Sofiero and Autumn Basic collection. Flowers by WOC, Memorybox swirl and some shabby seam binding from the Live & Love craft store. I used a swirl stamp by Stempelglede for the edges of the image. The sentiment is by Norsk Stempelblad AS. I distressed all edges using Walnut Stain and my sewing machine.

The image is Fancy by Saturated Canary. I colored her with my Copic markers.

I didn't write down the colors used but it looks like:

 This card is has a book card fold. I used a Martha Stewart punch on the edges of the "book pages" and pocket. The beatuiful sentiments are from the new stamps sets from Norsk Stempelblad; Clearstamps Konf1and Clearstamps Konf2.

DT CME: Baptism card for a girl

Hi crafty friend,

Here's a project I made for the Copic Marker Europe Blog.

This is a card I made for a friend of mine. She wanted a girlie card to give away in a Baptism.

I made the card using a fun fold to make it special. I used Pion Design papers and only flowers by WOC and charms from ebay to decorate. The sentiments are by Norsk Stempelblad AS. 

The image is by Mo Manning (Mo's digital pencil). Copics used:

Skin: E000-00-21-11-13, R20

Hair: E35-33-31-30

Dress: W7-5-3-1-00, C00

Pink: RV00-11-52, R00-20

I tried to create folds by following the lines of the artist's drawing. For the pink jacket I used dots of RV11 and R00 to try to get a soft look. Same with the underskirt, I used dots of the pink colors, and a thin line of W7-3-00 to create a small shadow under the dress. 

 Here's the card base with a sentiment in front.

The card has a gate fold and the image is on a tag.

Kurs på Trøndersaksa- gratulerer med 5 års dagen! / Copic coloring class and crop

Hi peeps,

I was away this weekend joining some lovely ladies at a crop called Trøndersaksa. I taught two classes, this is the card from the copic class. I will show you the other card later this week.

 Denne helgen var jeg i Trondheim for å delta på Trøndersaksa, som hadde 5 års jubileum i år. En haug med sprudlende, kreative damer, masse papir, stash, tusjer, latter, kaker, konkurranser, kurs og latter til sent på kveld (eller tidlig morgen). 

Følte meg i fint selskap den første dagen der jeg sto med de 6 herlige klisterbandittene som arragerer Trøndersaksa, og  den andre kursholderen, selveste Finnabair. Utrolig bra gjennomført arrangement!


Jeg holdt to kurs, det ene av dem var fargelegging med copics. Her er bildene og kortet vil laget:

11 engasjerte damer på kurset. Veldig morsom gjeng å være sammen med!

Back to school: Timetable

Hi peeps,

Here's a project I made for the Back to School article in Ett Trykk Magazine this august. I had lots of fun coloring these sweet La La Land images and making the timetable for my daughter. I can't believe she's in 3rd grade already, she was just born 5 minutes ago...lol.

I used papers by Papirdesign, Martha Stewart punch, 7gypsies date stamp, Scissors die by Tim Holtz. 

Rest is from my stash. I was inspired by a timetable made by Camilla.
